First off, the front asks the question: been trix'd yet? On the back, it has TRIX in big letters. First thoughts could be a lot of things. Most people thing that it's a t-shirt for Trix cereal. Altough that would be awesome, it is not. This was actually given to my girlfriend by her uncle, and she doesn't wear an XL like I do, so she was nice and gave it to me. Her uncle used to work for Loreal in their plant and one of their lines was MATRIX, and this shirt was apparently supposed to be for that particular brand. I think it's poor in that reguard since no one knows what my shirt is getting after, but I think it looks pretty sweet anyway. I always assumed that I would never see any one else wearing this shirt, but one day, walking around the BG campus, I passed a girl wearing this shirt and just started laughing uncontrollably, they probably thought I was crazy, but oh well. I have not been trix'd yet, but think it would be fun, possibly.

Bowling Green Pregnancy Center

Yes, my first t-shirt post ever was a shirt from the Bowling Green Pregnancy Center. I got this one at the same time at the same place, but the other one is much more worn than this one. Mainly due to the fact that I have too many plain t-shirts and this one gets lost in the shuffle. Plain white just does not compare to lime green. This shirt is still somewhat fun though. LIFE in big letters does grab people's attention. And then they go in to read it and it says: Love Life, Walk for it! Bowling Green Pregnancy Center. I still think people are bit put off by a pregnancy center t-shirt being worn a by a guy, but I really don't care and I find it funny. I would much rather advertise a pregnancy center walk than I would a company that would charge $15 for someone to wear a t-shirt. This shirt also proves that I'll wear almost any t-shirt as long as its free.

YMCA Camp Willson

So yeah, I'm just about to leave to go work at Camp Willson over Memorial weekend. So I thought it was appropriate to put up my staff shirt that I got last summer when I worked summer camp there. This shirt also came in handy when I worked at a YMCA in Columbus this spring since it's hard to read the Camp Willson part. I like the shirt overall, the dark green is a nice touch and the YMCA part makes me appear to be a good guy who cares about community and kids which is a good thing. Although it would be cooler if it was a little more busy or had something on the back, I think it's simple and it works for me.

BGSU Intramural Champ - We're Falcon Awesome

So yeah, I'm really big into intramural sports. I played about 10 different sports while at Bowling Green, Reffed around a dozen different sports. However, I only won twice. I was in the finals or semi finals about 10 times. So winning this t-shirt meant a lot to me and was one of my prouder accomplishments. I'm headed off to Western Michigan in the Fall to be a graduate assistant in the intramural department, so that gives me 2 more years to win some more intramural titles. But anyway, I like this t-shirt a lot. Any t-shirt that's dark colored works well for me, because you can't notice how much I sweat in a typical day. Also, any shirt that says BGSU or intramural champ, i'll wear. Add to it the rediculously cheezy saying of "we're falcon awesome!" makes this shirt almost like gold. So yeah, I got this shirt for winning intramural indoor softball after I put together a sweet team and captained them to victory. Here's a picture of us in all of our glory.

06 Tigers Wild Card Champs

So yeah, I am definitely a huge Indians fan and have followed them religeously for the last 15 years or so. But, my family is from Michigan and was brought up a Tigers fan as well, so they are my second favorite team. So here's the story on this one. There was a BGSU sport management student who worked for the Tigers in the clubhouse. He was given a few of these shirts and he decided to give one to the BGSU sport management alliance. He had a trivia question and the winner got the shirt. I was not there, but my friend was, and he got it right and with the shirt being an XL and he wears a medium and he knows that I do like the Tigers, he decided to give the shirt to me. So yeah, he's a really good guy for thinking of me and it's a sweet t-shirt. The sleeves are a little longer than normal which I thought would make it awkward, but I really enjoy it. So I would like to give a big thank you to Matt Schultz, great guy. The other thing is that this is the Tigers t-shirt that is just celebrating the fact they won the AL wild card in 06. Who celebrates winning the wild card? That's what makes this shirt even more awesome. Few people have it and most of the other people who have it (tigers players/staff) would wear the shirts that say ALDS Champions or AL Champions or even the Tigers vs Cardinals World Series shirt. Just plain awesome.

Fitchburg State Intramural Champ

So yeah, I definitely did not go to Fitchburg State College. I think it's in Maryland somewhere, I don't really feel like looking it up right now. The BGSU intramural director apparently saw this shirt at a conference and liked the falcon/eagle and decided to steal it and use it for the logo for BG intramurals. So now our intramural champions shirts have this logo on it. So yeah, he gave the shirt to me since he didn't want it, and I proudly wear it think it looks pretty sweet. So to all the people at Fitchburg State, thank you for making a sweet t-shirt for some kid in Ohio to wear.

I'm a big fan of MORE

I am a big fan of MORE. But the question is: more what? There are no logos on the shirt or nothing that could make you know what this shirt is advertising. This is actually an old Blockbuster t-shirt that I found lying around in the backroom when I used to work there. There was this big promotion about more copies guaranteed, so some advertising genius decided that this would be a great t-shirt for Blockbuster employees to wear. People might get it when you are working at Blockbuster, however, when you wear it outside of Blockbuster, people are confused and most likely to wonder what I am a big fan of. The best part might be that the MORE is right over the chest, so when a girl wears the shirt, the MORE fits perfectly. I will always be a big fan of MORE.

un-Falcon-Believable

This t-shirt was given out during Falcon Fest 2006. They only had a few, and they were supposed to go to people that had a special talent or something like that. My talent was that I knew the guy who was giving out the shirts since we had worked at Blockbuster together the previous summer. The front of the shirt has the state of texas, with texas hold 'em tournament 2005, Wendy's/Bowen-Thompson Student Union. The front is just OK, but the back steals the show. It has the ace of clubs and the ace of diamonds with the great saying of "the stakes are..... Un-Falcon-Believable!" It could be the stupidest thing ever, but I have other shirts that say similar things, but we'll get to those at a later date. The only problem is that the shirt is a 2-XL and I only wear an XL, but I make the exception based on the awesomeness of the shirt. I'll say it again, I love free t-shirts. Who would ever buy a t-shirt when it's much easier to get them free, they say the weirdest things and few other people have them? That criteria makes them a winner in my book. Until next time...

Kappa Kidney Camp

Plain and simple, this is an awesome t-shirt. I picked up this one last summer while working at camp. Each week, there were conference groups that come in and use the extra cabins. One week each year, kids with kidney problems come in and use our camp. They have t-shirts made, and apparently they give some of the leftovers to the main camp. We were scheduled for a party late one night with games, prizes and food. By about week 4, I was used to going to bed

at around 10 since I woke up around 6. I had told people I would wake up and go, but of course I fell asleep instead. So one of the other counselors had to sneak into my cabin without waking the kids up, wake me up, and help me stumble out of bed. I walk into the dining hall, drink some water, won a prize somehow, and picked up this doozie of a t-shirt, left and went back to bed, what a good night that was. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. A shirt that has tent on the front and a kidney going on a hike on the back definitely calls out to me. It's just flat out amazing. This shirt has solidified it's spot in my regular rotation of t-shirts and looks to hold the spot for a long time. Thank you Kappa Kidney Camp for making sweet t-shirts.

1992 4-H Dairy Feeder Calf Club

This shirt is a 1992 4-H Dairy Feeder Calf Club T-Shirt. I actually did not get this shirt until Summer 2007, however, I did not get it at a thrift store. When I worked at Summer Camp last summer they had a pile of clothes that the International Counselors could take and whatever they did not take was fair game to the other counselors. They left behind this gem (I also picked up a Mickey and Friends pillow case). I wore this shirt quite a bit over the summer, as shown by the picture of me wearing it while working the climbing wall. Any t-shirt with a cow on it is always fantastic, add to that being 15 years old and it's pretty much gold at this point.

BG Pregnancy Center Walk 06

For those of you who don't know me, I am a college student, and over my 4 years of college, I have collected about 50 free t-shirts from various places, mainly give aways at sporting events or places I worked at. For the first installment, I thought I would go with one of my favorite t-shirts that I picked up in Fall 2007 at Falcon Fest, which is where all of these businesses/groups give free stuff to college kids in front of our Student Union. This one is from the Bowling Green Pregnancy Center, and apparently they had some kind of walk for pregnancy or something in 2006 and had left over X-Large t-shirts that they needed to get rid of. I was more than happy to take one. Combined with the facts that it says Pregnancy Center and it's an odd Lime Green color, I wear it often and proudly. I'm going to miss Falcon Fest next year.
