Been trix'd yet?

Here is another very random free t-shirt that does not make a lot of sense. First off, the front asks the question: been trix'd yet? On the back, it has TRIX in big letters. First thoughts could be a lot of things. Most people thing that it's a t-shirt for Trix cereal. Altough that would be awesome, it is not. This was actually given to my girlfriend by her uncle, and she doesn't wear an XL like I do, so she was nice and gave it to me. Her uncle used to work for Loreal in their plant and one of their lines was MATRIX, and this shirt was apparently supposed to be for that particular brand. I think it's poor in that reguard since no one knows what my shirt is getting after, but I think it looks pretty sweet anyway. I always assumed that I would never see any one else wearing this shirt, but one day, walking around the BG campus, I passed a girl wearing this shirt and just started laughing uncontrollably, they probably thought I was crazy, but oh well. I have not been trix'd yet, but think it would be fun, possibly.

Bowling Green Pregnancy Center

Yes, my first t-shirt post ever was a shirt from the Bowling Green Pregnancy Center. I got this one at the same time at the same place, but the other one is much more worn than this one. Mainly due to the fact that I have too many plain t-shirts and this one gets lost in the shuffle. Plain white just does not compare to lime green. This shirt is still somewhat fun though. LIFE in big letters does grab people's attention. And then they go in to read it and it says: Love Life, Walk for it! Bowling Green Pregnancy Center. I still think people are bit put off by a pregnancy center t-shirt being worn a by a guy, but I really don't care and I find it funny. I would much rather advertise a pregnancy center walk than I would a company that would charge $15 for someone to wear a t-shirt. This shirt also proves that I'll wear almost any t-shirt as long as its free.

YMCA Camp Willson

So yeah, I'm just about to leave to go work at Camp Willson over Memorial weekend. So I thought it was appropriate to put up my staff shirt that I got last summer when I worked summer camp there. This shirt also came in handy when I worked at a YMCA in Columbus this spring since it's hard to read the Camp Willson part. I like the shirt overall, the dark green is a nice touch and the YMCA part makes me appear to be a good guy who cares about community and kids which is a good thing. Although it would be cooler if it was a little more busy or had something on the back, I think it's simple and it works for me.

BGSU Intramural Champ - We're Falcon Awesome

So yeah, I'm really big into intramural sports. I played about 10 different sports while at Bowling Green, Reffed around a dozen different sports. However, I only won twice. I was in the finals or semi finals about 10 times. So winning this t-shirt meant a lot to me and was one of my prouder accomplishments. I'm headed off to Western Michigan in the Fall to be a graduate assistant in the intramural department, so that gives me 2 more years to win some more intramural titles. But anyway, I like this t-shirt a lot. Any t-shirt that's dark colored works well for me, because you can't notice how much I sweat in a typical day. Also, any shirt that says BGSU or intramural champ, i'll wear. Add to it the rediculously cheezy saying of "we're falcon awesome!" makes this shirt almost like gold. So yeah, I got this shirt for winning intramural indoor softball after I put together a sweet team and captained them to victory. Here's a picture of us in all of our glory.

06 Tigers Wild Card Champs

So yeah, I am definitely a huge Indians fan and have followed them religeously for the last 15 years or so. But, my family is from Michigan and was brought up a Tigers fan as well, so they are my second favorite team. So here's the story on this one. There was a BGSU sport management student who worked for the Tigers in the clubhouse. He was given a few of these shirts and he decided to give one to the BGSU sport management alliance. He had a trivia question and the winner got the shirt. I was not there, but my friend was, and he got it right and with the shirt being an XL and he wears a medium and he knows that I do like the Tigers, he decided to give the shirt to me. So yeah, he's a really good guy for thinking of me and it's a sweet t-shirt. The sleeves are a little longer than normal which I thought would make it awkward, but I really enjoy it. So I would like to give a big thank you to Matt Schultz, great guy. The other thing is that this is the Tigers t-shirt that is just celebrating the fact they won the AL wild card in 06. Who celebrates winning the wild card? That's what makes this shirt even more awesome. Few people have it and most of the other people who have it (tigers players/staff) would wear the shirts that say ALDS Champions or AL Champions or even the Tigers vs Cardinals World Series shirt. Just plain awesome.

Fitchburg State Intramural Champ

So yeah, I definitely did not go to Fitchburg State College. I think it's in Maryland somewhere, I don't really feel like looking it up right now. The BGSU intramural director apparently saw this shirt at a conference and liked the falcon/eagle and decided to steal it and use it for the logo for BG intramurals. So now our intramural champions shirts have this logo on it. So yeah, he gave the shirt to me since he didn't want it, and I proudly wear it think it looks pretty sweet. So to all the people at Fitchburg State, thank you for making a sweet t-shirt for some kid in Ohio to wear.

I'm a big fan of MORE

I am a big fan of MORE. But the question is: more what? There are no logos on the shirt or nothing that could make you know what this shirt is advertising. This is actually an old Blockbuster t-shirt that I found lying around in the backroom when I used to work there. There was this big promotion about more copies guaranteed, so some advertising genius decided that this would be a great t-shirt for Blockbuster employees to wear. People might get it when you are working at Blockbuster, however, when you wear it outside of Blockbuster, people are confused and most likely to wonder what I am a big fan of. The best part might be that the MORE is right over the chest, so when a girl wears the shirt, the MORE fits perfectly. I will always be a big fan of MORE.
